Dan Ariely

In today's class, I watched the video about Dan Ariely. 70% of his body was burned before and he talked about his experience in the hospital, experimentation, cheating. First of all, he sped the time in the hospital because his body was burned. Then the nurse bothered him. For example when they took bandages off his body, they always do so quickly. By his words, if the nurse would take off so slowly, less of this intensity. He wished, but they did not. I heard this thing, although I did not meet them, I became dislike. He had a few money, so he did buy some machine to experiment and started studying at the university. I think he is so smart and he is thinking cheating is a bad thing.

The Movie

I watched movie in class. It is a story of one man who was dead by a car accident. He went to somewhere to decide his way. Then he saw his past life on the video and he met Julia in there. If he has no fear, he can stay in there. However if he has a fear, he would go back to his life. He had two reasons not to go back his life. One is he met Julia, so he did not part with her. The other one is there are so many delicious foods and beautiful hotel. It means that place is more comfortable than real life. In that place, he watched his past life, because the lawyers wanted to know if he has fear or not. Although he fighted with Julia, lastly he could be with her. When I watched this movie, I was really impressed.

I found the differences between the five people you meet in the heaven and this movie. In the five people, Eddie's way had already decided, but in this movie, Mr. Miller has the time to decide where to go. And I also found the same thing between them. It is, they saw their past life from the other place.

Every Saturday

On this Saturday, I went to farmers market with my classmates. It was held on near the beach. There were so many people in farmers market. For example, family, couple and people who came with their dogs. If I had a dog, I would like to go together and I will give some food to my dog. Because almost the foods which are selling in here are organic. So these are not having a harm for our health. At first we are able to try, accordingly If it is not good taste we do not have to buy it. In other words, we can buy only we like. It is really good for us. When we went there, there is so hot. So if you go there you will be able to shopping with sunshine and bustle of people. I had a good time in there.

I am Interested in Vintage Fashion

Now I am interested in vintage fashion. Then I found such a cute blog. I do not know about vintage fashion so much. So I will not focus on one topic from this blog today. At first, vintage fashion is the old clothes and no brand clothes. I often see rose items in the fashion magazines. However these are not only rose items. Nowadays, vintage fashion is attracted to LA celebs. For example, MK Olsen and Rachel Bilson. I will search the good shops which are selling vintage items and will write down on this blog.　

A Fashion Week

I'm interested in fashion. So I found this blog. This blogger wrote about a fashion week. Also I serched. First, what is a fashion week? According to Wikipedia, " a fashion week is a fashion industry event, lasting approximately one week, which allows fashion designers or 'houses' to display their latest collections in runway shows and buyers to take a look at the latest trends. Most importantly, it lets the industry know what's 'in' and what't 'out' for the seasons. The most peominent fashion weeks are held in the fashion capitals likes London, LA, Berlin, Milan, NYC, Paris and Tokyo. In the early and mid 2000s, fashion weeks sprang up around the globe to draw attention to designers elsewhere." All this sentences were came from Wikipedia, so I will introduce belong these.

Look at the first picture. This is a fashion week of S/S in Japan. Designer is Motonari Ono. 2nd picutere is Motonari Ono. In the fashion week, almost clothese and shoes are really eccentric. But the clothes which we always wear from this fashion week. The old fashion definitely not appear to this show. It means, this is 'in' and 'out'. The mode of the year parctically decide from this fashion show. I have some examples. These two picture is a fashion week. The botoms which these girls wearing are Saruel. Because of they wear Saruel in this show, Saruel came into fashion in this year. As a result of this, there are many people who wear Saruel in the world.

After the Death

I discussed about After the Death with Jeewon, Konomi and Elena. We are coming different country, also our opinions are different. First of all, I will talk about my opinion. I think people are able to be born again. But it is only people who did good things in a previous incarnation. It means, If you did good things you will be a person again, but if you did bad things you won't be a person. For example, you become a flower or a stone. This is based on the Pyramid.

Second, the content of Jeewon. Her opinion is "the body return to the ground. Soul lives in good memory on the place." The different part is "Memory". In my case, it is not the memory. Elena's opinion is "bad person goes to hell and good person goes to heaven. The person who went to heaven, they can spend really comfortable in there. " This is similar to my opinion. However, Elena's case, they cannot be born again. Konomi's opinion is same with me. But she said that she doesn't stick for an only one opinion, her opinion was included in our opinions. In those examples, our opinions are different.

Santa Monica Pier

Friday afternoon, I went to Santa Monica Municipal Pier with few classmates.

I have never gone there before, so I could not image about this place.

When I arrived there, I was really surprised. Because an amusement park is on the beach!

There is no place like here in my hometown.

I think this is a very good place. If we came here, we are able to enjoy many attractions with looking the ocean view.

There are a lot of attractions in this place. For example, roller coaster, bumper car, Ferris wheel and so on.

I saw many children in this place. May be this is too small for adults, but it is my opinion.

There are not only attraction, but also have eating places and shopping places. Many kind of foods we can eat in here! And we are possible to buy souvenir for family or friends.

If we want to fishing, we are able to. On Friday, many people were fishing.

At the side of this pier, people were doing beach volleyball. I like sports. So I wanted to join beach volleyball.

We can spend all day in this place. I like Santa Monica Pier!!
